Love Story
Fun fact: They don't remember meeting. Both Matt and Kate grew up in West Linn, Oregon, and attended middle school and high school together. Matt was a class year older, but soon they were always hanging out in the same crowd, and it wasn't long before they became good friends.
Although they never officially dated, one day after school in 2008, Kate stepped off the school bus to a quick, chalk-drawn note sprawled across her driveway "Will you go to prom with me?" Of course, she said "Yes!" and they enjoyed a fun night between themselves and friends - but too nervous to ever share a slow dance.
After graduating high school, Kate was off to adventure in Hawaii and New York. That same year, Matt went on to begin his first year at the University of Oregon. And that was that. They lost touch for eight long years.
It wasn't until 2018 when Kate and Matt's love story first began, just two single twenty-somethings who happened to swipe right on Tinder on an old friend. They decided to meet up for a quick drink, which turned into 6 hours of catching up on each other's lives. After discovering a mutual love of nerdy game nights, live music, and all things spooky and paranormal, it wasn’t long before that first date turned into multiple, and eventually, they became inseparable.
Kate and Matt now spend their days with their Husky, Aria, and lovable cats, Yoshi and Sylvie, while passing the time learning to cook, dreaming of future adventures, playing a few rounds of strategic card games, and occasionally hunting for ghosts.
After 15+ years of friendship and almost 4 years of being in love, the time is right to officially tie the knot, and we couldn’t be more excited!

There are two parking lots available for McMenamin's Cornelius Pass Roadhouse - one entrance is located on Cornelious Pass Rd, and the other on Imbrie Road. If needed, additional parking is also available across the street in the Fred Myers parking lot.
